What does it mean to be a prophet?
Do prophets exist in our modern age? The Bible tells us that, as Christians, we are all called to be prophets. The prophetic is a huge part of scripture, yet it often seems like there is a disconnect between prophets we see in the Bible and our experiences in the present day. When we think of prophets, we usually think of a specific person who has been given the gift of prophecy; a chosen individual with a unique connection to God. God wants to show us something different; He says that each one of us is called to be a prophet. That means you and me! Accordingly, it becomes much more important for us to understand what the prophetic truly is!
In this course, we will discuss what it means to be a prophet and how to step into that calling. We will learn that God’s kingdom operates both in heaven and on earth, and that we have unique connection to Him and a unique calling to take part in a royal priesthood and become partakers of His divine nature. This calling is for us here and now, not just in eternity, and is a key part of God’s covenant with His people–you and I! We will learn that the prophetic is really about each of us walking with God and receiving His truth and that prophecy is a key part of the grand life God offers us.
How will this course change my
life? We Are Called To Be Prophets will teach you what it means to be a prophet and how to step into the prophetic in your own life. This is essential for each of us to learn, as the prophetic is part of our calling as Christians! Learn with us as we embark on a journey to discover the prophetic and what it looks like in our present age.
