What does life look like after death?

This was the question Rich Case and his wife, Linda, found themselves pondering upon the death of their daughter, Michelle. As they went through the grieving process, they found themselves with innumerable questions and struggling to understand what life looked for Michelle now that she was not longer on earth. What does life look like after death? What should we, as Christians, expect? Most Christians hold a fairly shallow view of Heaven, since what we have primarily been taught reveals very little. Furthermore, our picture of Heaven, as shown in movies, books, and within conversations, appears very detached from our life here on Earth. Through processing the Word, Rich and Linda came to realize that this vision of Heaven was not the one shown to us through Scripture. Instead, they found that our lives continue after death, transitioning to a new phase rather than starting from scratch.

This course is the result of that study. T ogether, we will process through God’s Word on life after death. We will learn about the Tree of Life, which is Christ, who is the way to eternal life. For the Christian, eternal life begins now. Christ invites us into life with Him, and when we die this life continues, but without the sin nature which restrains us here on Earth. As you study the Word alongside this course, you will not only learn about the things we will experience in the next life, but will also learn how to tap into eternal life now, as well as how our walk with Christ now impacts our lives in eternity.
