How are we meant to live in a world of turmoil and chaos?
Everyday, we are faced with a world full of darkness and disaster. On both global and personal levels, our experiences in the world quickly cause us to feel as if everything is on a downhill slope from which there is no coming back. The reality is that there is much trouble in the world; even Christ told us that we would experience trouble in our lives as Christians. But He also said that He has overcome our difficulties. Fear is a natural response to unsafe circumstances, but staying in fear drives us away from God’s path and into self-reliance, deception, and despair. God offers us a different path, one of safety and of deliverance from our issues.
This course will explore what it looks like to live in God’s safety by examining the impact of fear, the promises God delivers to us, God’s nature of safety and protection, and how we can receive and stay in a beautiful place of safety amidst a disastrous world. Scripture tells us that God is a fortress and our Deliverer. He is an ever present help in times of trouble–a help that is available to you in your time of need. Join us as we discuss these things and learn how to depend upon God and receive His deliverance for us in every situation that we face.
