Are the mysteries of God discoverable?
Throughout the Scriptures, we see references to the mysteries of God. Despite this, very few of us actually understand what God means when He speaks of His ‘mysteries.’ You might be asking: “But isn’t that how it’s meant to be? Aren’t mysteries supposed to be indiscoverable?” A lot of people think this way. We throw the term around casually, like a mystery is something not only unknown, but also unknowable. The word in Scripture, however, doesn’t actually refer to this! Instead, a mystery is a truth which can only be known through revelation. A mystery is actually not something beyond our normal understanding. It is an enigma–truth that can only be known by revelation and which cannot be understood by logic. It is God’s secret thoughts, His plans, His truths—hidden from human reasoning and comprehension.
Through this course, we will study the mysteries of God, searching the scriptures to answer three questions: Why does God set His truth up as mysteries? What are these mysteries? And how do we receive these mysteries and apply them to our personal lives? We will learn that mysteries are not puzzles God is daring you to solve in your own strength. They are truths He has set up so that the only way to receive them is for Him to reveal them to you—and the only place that happens is in relationship with Him. His mysteries are meant to draw you closer to Him, not push you further away. Join us for this study as we step into a deeper relationship with God, allowing Him to reveal His mysteries to us!
How will this course change my life?
The Mysteries of God will show you what it looks like to step into God’s personal revelation for you as you seek to uncover His mysteries. You will learn how God’s mysteries actually strengthen our relationship with Him and how to step into this lifelong endeavor of discovering His mysteries yourself!
